ETHICS STATEMENT

Hello! Thank you for clicking on this page.

I want to take a moment to be transparent about the work I do, what it is and what it is not, and what I am committed to in order to maintain a respectful, supportive, and socially- and economically-just space for healing.

All of the services that I share are offered for guidance only. While it is my intention that my services may address certain goals and intentions you have for your life, neither my services nor the content on this website should be regarded as a substitute for medical, legal, financial, psychological or other professional advice. It is up to you to discern for yourself whether or not the information provided in a 1-1 session or group event is of best use to you. What you decide to do, including any actions you take, is based on your own personal responsibility and choice.

For what it’s worth, I care deeply about the people I serve. I am committed to my own personal practices that serve my mental, emotional and spiritual wellness. I endeavour to maintain clear, honest and respectful communication with clients. For better or worse, there is currently no licensing board for the specific modalities that I perform, but I am continuously educating myself in my line of work so that I can best serve my community. I acknowledge that no human is perfect β€” I certainly am not, and neither are the teachers and mentors I am grateful to have learned from and will learn from. Therefore I do my best to bring a critical eye to all that is taught (and not taught) in the places I seek my continued education.

When we move into a container for your healing, I will ask that you have in place a support system of friends, family, a therapist, and/or other professionals to support you on your journey. Please understand that any coaching relationship we move into is not therapy and does not prevent, cure or treat any mental disorder or medical disease.

I am committed to the work required to maintain awareness of the cultural lens I see the world through, and the limitations and biases it carries. As a white woman with an intersection of additional privileges, it it my duty to make my work accessible to those with marginalised identities and financial strains. Please read about my equitable access pricing principles here.

Thank you so much for reading.
